What clients have said…

I first came to Kate whilst in crisis, and she was patient, understanding and insightful in helping me, over the subsequent months, to return my life to an even keel. However, that was the beginning of a five-year therapeutic relationship in which Kate used her expertise and intuition to steer me towards a self-knowledge that has changed my relationship choices, my career confidence and my creative explorations. The experience has truly been life-changing, and I am profoundly grateful.

I’m never had counselling before and had the usual male hang ups about talking about my feelings. I don’t think Kate ever asked me how I felt about something directly, but she’d get me there. I didn’t like that at first, I’ll admit. But now I am a different version of myself, and I have come to terms with lots of my life, around feeling good enough. People have noticed the changes in me, so I’m glad I did it. I am genuinely indebted to her.

I’ve had therapy before, but knew I still needed help still with focus and staying regulated, especially during the menopause. Kate knew her stuff. We also looked at my past, but also how to move forward or what was stopping me making changes, as I wanted to concentrate on this now too. So, for me it was both insightful and practical, which is what I needed. Thank you!
